For the new Ford Focus ST, two brightly coloured car’s raced around Key West, Florida. Instead of being professionally recorded with sound-men and lighting equipment, they left the filming down to the spectators. A true first for advertisements in a sense that Ford had no control over the footage filmed. Some of the shots may have been in bad light or just amateur filming overall.
Worries aside, the resulting ad is a celebration of humans desire to remember things. Ford have utilised this for their own benefit by making an advertisement out of people’s captured memories.
